What I’m Passionate About
What I’m most passionate about is the intersection of natural language, machine learning, and education. I’ve spent the better part of a decade exploring how large language models (LLMs) can support human communication, how pronunciation patterns transfer between languages, and how children’s brains differ from adults’ when acquiring new sounds. From NLP theory to real-life application, I’m driven by one big question: how can we learn—and teach—languages more naturally and effectively in the 21st century?
How My Journey Began
My journey began not in a lab but in a classroom—struggling to learn French as a second language. Despite good grades, something always felt off. I couldn’t sound natural, and I didn’t understand why. That frustration led me to linguistics, phonetics, and, eventually, machine learning. I wanted to break down how our brains process language, why certain sounds are harder to learn than others, and how technology might help us adapt. Later, I completed a Master’s in Natural Language Processing and worked with neural networks and speech recognition systems—training machines to “hear” us better. At the same time, humans still struggled to pronounce “r” in Spanish or “th” in English.
That contradiction stuck with me.

That’s why I created this platform. I wanted a space where linguistics meets real-life application. A space for learners who feel lost between grammar rules and AI buzzwords. Here, we break down complex ideas—like how large language models process syntax or how early exposure affects accent acquisition—and make them accessible to curious minds.
